Payment Methods



We accept all the major credit / debit cards, PayPal, cheques and postal orders.

Online Card Security

Your security is a priority - all card purchases are completed via a fully encrypted Secure Server provided by PayPal who are our authorised payment processing company - we never have access to your card details at any time.

Cheque/Postal Order Payments

We are also happy to accept payment by cheque or postal order. All postal payments must be made in Pounds Sterling. In the case of payments by cheque, it must be made payable via a UK bank. Goods will be despatched after your cheque has cleared. Please allow 3 - 5 working days.

Delivery Information/Charges

All orders will be posted by UK Royal Mail First Class Recorded Delivery the following working day after a payment clears

• For orders up to £19.99 in value the delivery charge will be £2.95
• For orders over £19.99 in value the delivery charge will be £4.95

Royal Mail 1st Class Recorded Delivery post is a trackable service & a signature will be required upon receipt of the parcel. Typically allow 1-2 working days for delivery.

Returns and Refunds

We want you to be happy with everything you buy from us. If you are dissatisfied with any of the goods you purchase you have up to 7 days after the goods dispatch date in which to request a return and refund.

All returns MUST be arranged in advance via email - we will provide a returns number to be used for the return - returns/refunds will not be accepted without a returns number.

All returns must reach us within 14 days from initial dispatch date. Items received after 14 days will not be accepted for return. We cannot refund postage & packing charges and the cost of returning the goods shall be paid for by the customer. The customer shall be responsible for ensuring the return of goods and we cannot be held responsible for items lost in transit.

To qualify for a refund, goods must be returned in their original condition, unused (with any seals and packaging intact) and in a re-saleable condition. We will not accept returns if goods and packaging are not in their original condition. For reasons of hygeine we cannot accept requests to return tights, wigs or balloons.This does not affect your statutory rights.

It has now become necessary to charge a £1.50 re-stocking fee for all fancy dress costumes & this fee will be deducted from the refund amount

Loss or Damage in Transit

Every effort will be made to ensure your goods are delivered on time. Other than transit errors it is the purchaser’s responsibility to ensure goods are ordered in good time.

We have chosen to send all goods by Royal Mail 1st class recorded delivery which is a trackable service and should reduce the risk of orders being lost in transit. We are however reliant on Royal Mail to deliver your order to you promptly and safely. Royal Mail do operate a claims procedure for items that are lost or damaged whilst in their care, but will not class an item as lost until after 15 working days after the date of posting. If goods are not received or returned to us within this timescale we will supply either replacement or a refund, whichever the buyer chooses.

Order Fulfilment

We hope you will be pleased with your order. All orders are carefully checked and packed and we suggest you check them upon receipt. In the event of a problem you must contact us by email within 2 working days of receipt so that we can investigate fully.

If the goods delivered are not what the customer ordered, or are of incorrect quantity, or are damaged or defective, we will, if the customer returns them within a 14 day period, at the customer's option either give a full refund or where possible make good any shortage or non-delivery or replace any damaged or defective goods.

In the unlikely event of an item being out of stock, we will send the main package according to your chosen delivery method and contact you to advise you of a revised delivery date for the out of stock items, or to offer you an alternative product. As you would expect, out of stock items sent on later do not incur any extra delivery cost.

Order Value Discounts

If your order exceeds £50.00 you will automatically qualify for our 5% discount against your goods. This is applied automatically and adjusted accordingly by our system – you do not need to take any further action to qualify for this discount.

Health & Safety

All of our products are very carefully selected and comply with the European Safety Regulations and bear the CE mark and age guides where appropriate. Please retain any packaging for future reference Many of the items are unsuitable for children under 3 years old. It is the parent’s responsibility to supervise the end user of our products. Adults should inflate balloons and supervise their use with children under 8 years.


Collections

If you live locally and would like to collect your order please contact us beforehand to arrange a mutually convenient time, and we can ensure your order is ready. No delivery charge will apply.

Law

Contracts between The Party Kings and the customer will be governed by English Law and all disputes will be submitted to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
